The Moodle App is a feature that helps you login to the this site. It doesn't influence the performance of the My Homeschool learning platform. However it will no longer work. You may as well delete it.
However, you can still place a shortcut on your home screen of you phone or tablet which will act the same as the app.

Here are the instructions for Android using Google Chrome or a Bookmark. The android was a little more of a fiddle. I needed to add it to the homepage via a bookmark.
