Semester One invites your child into a warm rhythm of literature, nature, and hands-on discovery. In My Homeschool English 3A, children practise clear, beautiful writing through short, explicit lessons in spelling, grammar, vocabulary, narration, and picture study—anchored in classic stories and poetry. Copywork in foundation cursive (with Beatrix Potter’s delightful characters) builds neat, confident handwriting and a love of language.

Science unfolds through living books and observation. Backyard Nature Lessons turns your garden into a daily lab: students meet insects, worms, and spiders, then capture findings in a guided Nature Journal. My First Science: The Solar System adds simple astronomy—day and night, moon phases, the order of the planets, and star-spotting in southern skies— with gentle activities, curated video links, and a family-friendly stargazing habit.

History comes alive in History Makers: Alexander to Augustus, a weekly story-led journey through Ancient Greece and Rome and the beginnings of Christianity. Children also explore civic understanding with Australia’s Special Days and deepen national identity through the hands-on Australian Flags Lapbook.

Beauty and balance round out the week: poetry and music appreciation, picture study and art invitations, plus simple Health & PE woven into family life—movement, healthy routines, and “healthy conversations” that nurture wellbeing.
